Charming post‑war nursery rocking horse with molded plastic body, red handgrips, and a chrome‑finish tubular loop base with twin wooden footboards. The flexible steel mounts give a gentle bounce/rock and the streamlined look is pure 1950s–60s design. An ideal display piece for a children’s room, playroom, shop window or mid‑century collection. Maker unknown; typical of Tri‑ang/Chad Valley era production.
Approx. size: L 95 cm x H 52 cm x W 42 cm.
Condition: Presents well with age‑appropriate wear—scuffs to the plastic, small losses at the snout/hooves, light tarnish to the base, and surface wear to the timber treads. Cleaned and ready to display. Sold as a collectable/display item, not certified for contemporary play.
