Royal Delft (De Porceleyne Fles) – polychrome covered jar, mid/late 20th century.
Tin-glazed earthenware jar. Squat circular body with domed cover, hand-painted in the traditional Delft polychrome palette (cobalt, iron-red, yellow and green) with scrolling foliage and bold flowerheads; twin blue rings to the collar.
Mark: underside with the Royal Delft apothecary-bottle mark over “Delft / Made in Holland” and decoration no. 819 (plus painter’s mark).
Size: 16 cm diameter, 8.5 cm high.
Condition: Very Good—clean glaze with light wear only; no obvious chips or cracks.
