Set of Six 18th-Century Carved Oak Architectural Mounts
A characterful suite of late 17th/early 18th-century carved oak mounts, comprising four bearded figural terms/atlantes and a matched pair of foliate corbels. Likely salvaged from a court cupboard or similar high-status piece of furniture. Each shows bold hand carving with deep relief and retains a rich, old wax surface. Wonderful as wall sculpture or to incorporate into cabinetry, a kitchen island, or a bespoke bookcase.
