Beautifully thrown studio pottery vase, signed, and marked 85 to the base. Crafted in a sandy stoneware clay with softly graduated sprays of grey‑blue and warm ochre, it has a simple cylindrical body rising to a sculptural flared collar neck.
The subtle, matte surface and restrained palette make this an easy piece to style – perfect for a single stem or displayed as part of a stoneware collection. A lovely example of late‑20th‑century European studio ceramics with clear influences from Japanese and Scandinavian design.
